Aging population is growing rapidly in Korea. The rapid growth of aging population will cause many problems in Korea society. The government is designing the long-term care insurance system in order to solve the problems of aging population. This bill, prior to getting down to execution, has a concern of non-professionalism in the care-work field. In case of Japan and Germany, long-term care insurance system is being also carried out to overcome problems of aging population and their care-work fields are supported by professionals. However, long term care insurance system Korea prepares is far from professionalism in the field. Thus, this paper emphasizes the professionalism of the field that is directly related to the quality of the senior’s life and suggests classification of the grade for care workers and systematic care work. At this time, the old people can be free from anxiety about their life.
